Our Strong Kids Campaign needs you.
Through the generosity of over 300 donors comprising staff, members, and companies more than $267,000 was raised towards the Strong Kids campaign in 2011. These dollars made change for 800 people – our neighbors – making it possible for them to walk through our doors and take the first step into a healthier lifestyle.
Memberships, health & wellness programs, camperships and child care were offered at reduced pricing to those who showed qualified financial need. We welcome everyone and because of your support, we have already raised over $100,000 to date. It’s not over yet, as our association goal is to reach $250,000 by December 31st.

“I almost didn’t get to go to summer camp as a child since my parents couldn’t afford to have two of us in camp at once. But that changed when we were awarded a campership. Camp really made my summers memorable and helped me become an independent person. Now we have our own child and we plan on sending her to camp, but realize not all parents have the same financial ability.
