H.E.A.L. – Healthy Eating Active Lifestyle

New to the Hillsborough Y, the H.E.A.L (healthy eating, active lifestyle) nutrition and weight management program will teach a total lifestyle approach to weight management focusing on education, behavior modification, accountability and exercise. The program is taught based on the proven system of a low glycemic diet. The H.E.A.L program will be taught in groups, one-on-one and family sessions. ALL members are also invited to schedule their free consultation. The program will be taught by Maeghan Scott, a trained health coach with a master’s degree in nutrition education.  Register Online.

INDOOR CYCLING

Group cycling is a challenging workout that suits all ranges of abilities and fitness goals.  Our Spinning certified instructors will have you pedaling to motivating music and teach you how to enjoy the ride.  Classes are first come/first served.  Members:  make sure to pick up a ‘reserved’ tag from the Welcome Center up to 15 minutes before the class begins to save your bike.

PERSONAL TRAINING

Let one of our certified personal trainers help you reach your fitness goals.  Each 60 minute session may include strength, stability, cardio, yoga, agility training or whatever else you may need to feel successful.  Private training sessions are one client, one trainer and can provide you with individualized instruction.  Duet training sessions are for two clients, one trainer with similar skill level and goals in mind to work together with one trainer and share the investment. 
Payment is required in advance with a 24 hour cancellation policy in effect.  No refunds.

Member                  $50 per session        $220 for 5 sessions             $420 for 10 sessions
Non-Member           $58 per session        $273 for 5 sessions             $525 for 10 sessions

Duet Training   (two clients, one trainer)

YOGA

This class will challenge you to expand your body as well as your mind through the practice of Yoga.  Students will be taught proper alignment in poses, the use of props to enhance poses, breathing techniques, and to explore their playful side.  We will explore the centuries old traditions and practices of Yoga and learn techniques to bring Yoga into your life off the mat.   Themed classes and poses of the month provide for variation and encourage students to progress in their practice.  No two classes are alike!  Both Vinyasa (flowing through poses) and holding of poses is incorporated.  Pose variations and prop recommendations are given to accommodate student’s varying levels of experience.  All levels are welcome.  Come as you are and see what develops!     Register Online.
