Aquatics ->Positions Available:
Lifeguards - Must have current certifications in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Lifeguards ensure the safety of all participants in the aquatic facility and promote a pleasant and sanitary environment. Minimum age 15.Hours: we are open 7 days a week and looking for various shifts. Please contact the facility you are interested in working at for specific hours (Schedule is flexible)
Swim Instructors- Provides a safe and comfortable environment while teaching water safety, stroke development, comfort in the water, and games. Should have current CPR, First Aid, and Aquatics teaching certifications. Minimum age 15.Hours: we are open 7 days a week and looking for various shifts. Instructor Aide – Support Swim Instructors during lessons by providing additional supervision of students, assisting the instructor with water safety, running games, and helping students become comfortable in the water. Must be able to tread water for 2 minutes and swim front and back crawl.Hours: we are open 7 days a week and looking for various shifts. Swim Team Coach- Coaches will help run swim practices and swim meets. Coaches must have a background in competitive swimming. Experience teaching swimming is a plus. Hours: Flexible hours which vary by season.
Assistant Swim Team Coach – Assistant Coaches will work with the practice coaches to facilitate workouts, help with stroke correction, and provide additional supervision of the swimmers. Membership Service Staff ->
Positions Available:
Member Service Staff are the frontline for our YMCA. Qualified candidates must have good people skills, the ability to learn computer procedures and implement YMCA policies. As the face for our YMCA, Member Service Staff must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to solve problems as they arise. Children's Services ->
Positions Available:
Looking for a motivated and energetic person to join our child development center team. Must be creative, positive, and believe in the mission of the YMCA. Experience working with children preferred.

The Somerset Valley YMCA Summer Camp is a well organized fun program that offers a variety of experiences. We are always looking for new and exciting ways to impact the youth of tomorrow. The Somerset Valley YMCA After School program is a safe place for the youth of our community to come and participate in activities with friends.
